About the Author

Phil Callahan is a writer, visual artist, and retired university administrator who lives in Tallahassee, Florida with his wife Carolyn, son Andrew, and granddaughter Celeste. Phillip came to Tallahassee in the 1970s from Elkhorn, a rural community in Taylor County, Kentucky where he was born and spent his youth. Though he moved away from his community of origin, he could never escape its abiding influence on his heart.
